Awnings
The awning is available for your use. However, it is critical that you pay attention to the weather and especially the wind. The awning switch is located at the entry steps. See the picture:
Some things to keep in mind about deploying the awning:
- Make sure there is enough clearance to deploy the awning.
- Use the supply story pole (1/2-inch plastic pipe about 8 feet long) in the garage to measure the distance to any nearby obstacles.
- Never deploy the awning in the wind.
- Always retract the awning when it starts to get windy.
- Never deploy the awning in the rain (with the rain almost certainly comes wind).
- Do not hang towels or anything on the deployed awning’s arms.
- Don’t even start the engine while the awning is deployed; retract it first.
- These possible mistakes could cost you a ton of money!
