Setting up Camp 101
Part of setting up the campsite is deploying the slide-outs and the awning (unless it’s windy or rain is forecasted).
If you brought your own or subscribed to the Outdoor fun package, now you can set out your step, rug, chairs, hammocks, etc. and begin enjoying camping. Build a campfire in the campground’s fire ring. If you subscribed to the Outdoor Fun package that includes a portable fire pit, be sure that the campground allows its use before lighting it up.
Be sure to set up a dedicated trash receptacle and don’t leave any trash lying around the campsite. They attract animals and sometimes will turn your neighbors into animals when they get disgusted at your dirty campsite. To be sure that you understand this, campsite etiquette is its own page.
