Living

The question is asked, ‘Are you really living?’.  You have to answer this for yourself.  In doing so, consider this: Should a price be paid for moral crimes committed? I would hope that you would agree with a ‘yes’.

Have you ever done any wrong things? Of course, we all have, including me!

So with this information, we’ve painted a picture or scenario of ourselves. If we presented this picture to a judge and he said to us, ”are either of you interested in a full, unconditional pardon’?”, what would you say? I know I would say ‘Yes!’.

It stands to reason that if you know you are guilty, you are much more open to a deal, like an unconditional gift of forgiveness like this Judge is offering.

Now, what would you say if this same Judge took off his robe and told you he was going to pay the costs for what we did wrong so that we could go free, with no repayment to him from us?

Would you be inclined to accept the Judge’s free gift of HIS payment for what WE did wrong, with no repayment to him at all? I know I would!

Consider the fact that Jesus was that Judge and being found on earth in the form of a man, He sacrificed Himself and died a horrible death on a cross to PAY THE  PRICE for OUR sins. Will you accept His pardon, His forgiveness, His free gift of eternal life, as your Savior, and His gift of saving you from eternal death in Hell, SIMPLY by believing in Him and what He did for YOU?

God, from the beginning of time, has provided a way of salvation for those who believed in Him. He came to earth as a human man to show us an example of how to live. He lived without fault in every way. He took our misdeeds upon Himself and took them to death on the cross. He then conquered death by being resurrected after three days and then ascended back to Heaven some days later with the promise of His return to bring all His true believers to Him so that we can live forever with Him and with all the joys and possible pleasures but with no hell to haunt us. Just think, no more tears, no more hurt, all our problems solved.  What a glorious future we true believers have in Jesus! Notice I didn’t say “Christians”, I said “true believers, because not all who call on Jesus or not all who call themselves Christians are true believers.  Even Satan, ‘acknowledges’ Jesus and shudders.

My advice; 1. Before it’s too late for you, make the decision to invite Jesus to become your Lord and personal Savior and secure your place in the soon-coming Kingdom of God. Jesus is coming back soon for his true believers.

2. ALWAYS do what is right (in God’s view) and not what’s convenient, at the time, for you.

Also, please read 1 Corinthians 15, verses 1-8. (NKJV) which is Paul’s letter to the believers in God’s church in Corinth.

1 Cor v15: 1Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.
